School-led induction/ Core induction programme (Duplicated)

This section is for ECTs from independent schools who are using DfE-accredited materials, this includes mentor session guidelines and self-directed study materials.

Once you are on this page:  

a. Under the ‘if you are not an early career teacher or mentor’ heading click on the ‘create an account’ hyperlink and type in your email address. This will create your account.   

b. You will be sent an activation link via your email which will redirect you to the materials.   

c. Once you have created an account, for any subsequent visits to the materials you should visit the main page, click ‘start now’ and enter the email address you signed up with.   

Please note, email addresses should not be shared and each person requiring access should create their own sign-in under their own individual email account.  

As a reminder, schools who want to access the DfE-accredited materials to deliver their own ECF-based training should continue to select only one set of materials as the basis of their programme, and register with the DfE’s online service here to access their chosen DfE-accredited materials: Support for early career teachers (education.gov.uk)

 

You should choose materials from through Teach First the Support for early career teachers service:

If you choose to deliver your own training using DfE-accredited materials, your nominated induction tutor will need to report this through Manage training for early career teachers.

Xavier as your appropriate body will check your programme to make sure it covers the full depth of the early career framework with fidelity checks throughout of induction.
