In this induction tutor section, you will find important information to support you in your role.  If you are new to the role of induction tutor please contact Sophie Hunter (e-mail address below) to arrange a face-to-face or Teams meeting. Sophie will be pleased to support you in your vital role and can direct you to the training you need to carry out termly progress reviews/assessments and to support ECTs and their mentors.

• ECT support process – This includes self evaluation documentation, support plans, proformas, cause for concern documentation and flow diagrams to explain processes of support for ECTs.
• Progress reviews and assessments - Full guidance for writing ECT progress reviews and formal assessments, an easy-to-use flip book to refer to, supporting documentation such as self-reflection forms and evidence collection proformas.
• Induction tutor checklists – Half-termly checklists of things to do for each half term.
• Clear guidance on how to update Xavier on any programme member changes.
• Reduced induction – Guidance for part-time ECTs and Fast Track applications.
