Our Partnership with Teach First
We work in close partnership with Teach First as our Early Career Teacher Entitlement (ECTE) Lead Provider, united by a shared commitment to providing the very best support for Early Career Teachers and their mentors.
This is a genuinely collaborative relationship. Together, we ensure that the national programme is delivered in a way that is coherent, contextually relevant, and responsive to the needs of schools across our region.

A Shared Commitment to Excellence
At the heart of our partnership is a joint responsibility to ensure that every Early Career Teacher receives high-quality, consistent support throughout their induction.
Teach First provides a strong national framework, drawing on research and expertise from across the sector. As a Teaching School Hub, we work closely with them to:
- Ensure delivery reflects the realities of local classrooms
- Maintain high standards and consistency across provision
- Provide ongoing feedback and collaboration to strengthen the programme
This partnership approach means that the programme is not only well-designed, but also thoughtfully delivered and continuously refined.
Bringing the Programme to Life
While Teach First develops the core materials, it is through our skilled facilitators and local delivery that the programme truly comes to life.
Our facilitators:
- Work closely with Teach First to ensure fidelity to the programme alongside local adaptation
- Deliver training with care, professionalism, and deep understanding of our schools
- Build strong relationships with Early Career Teachers and mentors, creating a supportive and developmental experience
This combination of national design and local expertise underpins a programme that is both rigorous and responsive.
A Trusted and Collaborative Relationship
Our close working relationship with Teach First has been built on trust, openness, and a shared focus on impact. This includes our contribution to their successful Ofsted outcomes, where the strength of partnership working and quality of delivery have been key factors.
Together, we remain committed to ensuring that every Early Career Teacher is supported to develop, thrive, and make a lasting difference in the classroom.
